Latest news:-  Feb 2012 - Congratulations to Chef Alison and her team in the kitchen for achieving, once again, the highest rating of 5 from The Food Standards Agency. This new rating covers all aspects of food and hygiene quality in the Home.

We have embraced up-to-date technology and are proud to announce that Clients may use laptop computers and iPads to access the internet. One to one lessons with members of staff are available, or if Clients are au-fait with these items, they may surf wirelessly  within certain areas of the building. We have a computer in the rehabilitation centre, which has made an ideal ' Internet Cafe' where Clients can relax.

Ollie Coleshill, Phil and Kathy's eldest son, has been coming in regularly to teach Clients about the computer and internet. Some of our people have discovered a mutual love of music, and they search the internet for favorite songs/ artistes, and then listen to them. Exploration of subjects via the internet and the subsequent discussions has given us invaluable insight into our Clients lives and continues to help us to help them. Will Coleshill is completing his Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award and will be coming in regularly on Sundays to assist with activities, especially computer and Nintendo Wii.

Our adopted cat, Woody, is doing very well and is very spoiled. He is a gorgeous tabby with a lovely nature. He pops in to say hello to the cat lovers and has a warm bed in the laundry. He found us in the springtime three years ago and is now one of the family.

We have a full schedule of internal and external entertainment throughout the year. We purchased a Nintendo Wii two years ago. We have installed more wide screens in the house, to use for interactive games, music quizzes etc. Please see the photos in the 'Activities Gallery' of Ollie and Will helping to show people how to ' game' !! Bowling, golf and boxing are all very popular.

Cookery classes are available, with Clients shopping for food and occasionally cooking their own meals in our re-hab unit. Sometimes afternoon baking is more popular, so Alison's lunches aren't missed!

Garden - We had  mixed fortunes with the vegetable garden last year. The mice ate the broad beans and the birds ate the blackcurrants! However the carrots and strawberries were left for us to enjoy. The Victoria plums were wonderful last year, juicy and sweet.  The garlic and shallots were disappointing. I think we still need our excellent fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers!

Outings - We try to organise trips out according to what people think they will enjoy. We have a beach hut at West Wittering and several people have expressed a wish to have a seaside trip on one warm sunny day this summer. It is opposite the cafe and very close to the loos! Perfect! We can make hot drinks in the hut and then sit and enjoy the views.

Entertainment:- Visitors are very welcome to stay for our shows. Please see the Clients Page for full details.

Please go to Clients page for details of forthcoming events. Visitors are most welcome to stay during our in-house entertainments.
