ManagerMrs Iulia Miclea, R.G.N ;Iulia came to England in 2003, having commenced nurse training in 1993 in her home country of Romania. After registration with the Nurses and Midwifery Council, she worked as a trained nurse at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. She has experience of Clients with learning disabilities and also of working within a G.P surgery. Iulia has a host of training qualifications including being a Manual Handling facilitator. She has an keen interest in personalisation of care and continues her impressive professional development whist being an extremely capable and popular Manager. She is married with a 4 yr old daughter, and the family enjoy travelling together to new places. Deputy ManagerMrs Silvia-Anca Serdenciuc, R. G. N ;N.V.Q. 4 Leadership & Management Care Services, Dementia Facilitator. Post qualification experience in residential care for elderly, dementia, young adults and children, learning disabilities and behavioural problems. Silvia has a host of training qualifications. She is married with a daughter and enjoys reading, travel and personal and professional development. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CHEF ALISON TAYLOR and her team for achieving the highest rating of 5 from the Food Standards Agency. This new rating covers all aspects of food and hygiene quality in the Home.Congratulations go to John Gibbin, R.M.N, R.G.N, on his retirement. After a long and distinguished career, including being awarded the Royal College of Nursing's Award of Merit, he retires to Ireland, where he will continue writing about the History of Nursing.
