  Valewood House has been run very successfully by the same family for 28 years. Delivering person-centred care requires high levels of staffing, especially for those displaying challenging behaviour. We are very successful at enabling Clients to settle happily at Valewood. All our staff work together as a team, ensuring that each person receives a comprehensive, detailed personal care plan. This includes both nursing care required and also the individual's choices and preferences for their everyday life.We are supported by the G.P's at Haslemere Health Centre and a consultant psychiatrist. www.haslemerehc.co.ukLinks with the local community are excellent and strong. Clients make full use of local facilities as often as they are able, including Luncheon Clubs, cinema, theatre, churches of all denominations, shopping and leisure facilities.   Accomodation is bright and comfortable, with beautiful views. Rooms are furnished and decorated to each persons individual taste, and all rooms are adaptable to suit needs.Visitors are welcome anytime, so that each individual may choose how and when to spend time with family and friends.Our main line station is Haslemere, with fast trains to Waterloo and the South Coast.
